About Me

Objective
An astronomer and a mechanical engineer. Searching for the opportunities to build a new career in astronomical research. Interested in observational astronomy, Very high energy gamma-ray astronomy, Relativistic jet phenomena, Extragalactic objects and Blazars. Trying to combine technical and administrative skills from practical engineering with the research and computer skills to progress in achieving highest goals in academic world.
Education
    Master of Science in Astronomy
University of Turku, Department of Physics and Astronomy, Turku, Finland, September 2011 to Present
  • M. Sc. thesis was assigned to cover part of a complete multi wavelength population study of VHE gamma-ray emitting BL Lac objects. While finding out whether recently discovered MAGIC J2001+435 is a typical BL Lac was a subsidiary aim. Different wavelengths properties of 42 BL Lac sample are collected from literature to achieve the main aim of the thesis. For MAGIC J2001+435, observation data in X-ray and VHE gamma-rays band were reduced and analyzed to calculate the properties for these two wavelengths. The other wavelengths properties for this object are collected from literature.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics)
Isfahan University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Isfahan, Iran, September 1999 to September 2005
  • In B. Sc. Thesis, forced convective heat transfer in one water cooled micro heat sink was studied numerically. The required flow rate for optimizing the heat-sink's performance was calculated as it's result.
